“I started working with Tim shortly after I moved to Crested Butte. Before Tim I played Rugby and my training routine was very focused on explosive movements, strength and heavy lifting to maintain muscle bulk for injury prevention. When I started working with Tim we quickly identified that I needed to re-program my body to become “Mountain Fit”, and designed a program to lean out body my mass and focus on movement, flexibility, mobility to adapt to mountain sports. We incorporated breathing to adjust to the high alpine climate and focused on sprints to build endurance whilst still accommodating my Type II fast twitch muscle fibers. I have never worked with a trainer until I met Tim that understood my needs and designed a training program that match my body type and the types of sports where I needed to perform. Best of all I consider Tim a friend and we love to share stories about our outdoor activities and accomplishments.
